Welcome to Xian! Upon your arrival, you will be met by your local guide and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel, ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated start to your journey. The remainder of the day is arranged for a relaxed introduction to the city, allowing you to settle in and prepare for the upcoming cultural exploration.

After breakfast, you will drive about 40 km to visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors, one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in China. The site features thousands of life-size figures, including infantry, cavalry, and chariot formations that showcase remarkable ancient craftsmanship and imperial power.
After lunch, you will return to Xian to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a major Tang Dynasty Buddhist landmark originally built to store sacred scriptures brought from India by Monk Xuanzang. The site reflects the historical development of Buddhism in China and Tang-era cultural exchange.
In the evening, you will explore the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City, a vibrant cultural district featuring illuminated streets, themed architecture, and live performances that recreate the atmosphere of ancient Chang'an, offering a striking contrast to daytime sightseeing.
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Mount. Huashan, located about two hours from Xian.
Upon arrival, you will take a sightseeing shuttle to the West Peak Cableway station and ascend by cable car, enjoying sweeping views of deep valleys and dramatic mountain landscapes along the way.
You will begin your exploration at West Peak, famous for its lotus-shaped rock formations and steep scenery, then continue to South Peak, the highest point of Mount Hua, offering panoramic views over the surrounding ranges. Next, you will experience the Plank Road in the Sky, a narrow cliffside walkway known as one of China's most thrilling hiking challenges, taking approximately 30–45 minutes depending on conditions.
You will then proceed to East Peak, where wide viewpoints and iconic spots such as Sparrow Hawk Turning Over and Chess Playing Pavilion can be found. After completing the loop, you will descend by cable car and return to Xian.
Please note that: food options on the mountain are limited, so bringing light snacks is recommended. The Plank Road experience is subject to weather conditions, safety regulations, and possible waiting times during peak seasons.
Your journey today begins at the Ancient City wall, the largest and best-preserved ancient city fortification in China. Enjoying a relaxing walk or optional cycling experience along the top of the wall, with panoramic views of both historic and modern Xian.
You will then continue to the Xian Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda, set in a peaceful park environment. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda, dating back to the Tang Dynasty, is a well-preserved heritage structure that has survived multiple earthquakes, while the nearby museum showcases a rich collection of cultural relics including jade, ceramics, and Buddhist artifacts.
After the visit, you will have free time before your private transfer to the airport or railway station, marking the end of your Xian and Mount. Huashan journey.
Xian has a temperate continental climate, while Mount Huashan is at higher elevation with cooler temperatures. Spring (April–June) and autumn (September–October) are ideal for mild weather, clear skies, and lower crowd levels. Summers can be hot and humid in the city, while winter may bring cold winds and occasional snow on the mountains. Layered clothing and comfortable shoes are recommended.
Mount Huashan is a moderate to strenuous hike, involving steep paths, stairs, and narrow cliffside trails. Travelers should have reasonable fitness and wear sturdy, comfortable shoes. Cable cars are available for some routes to reduce fatigue. Those with mobility or health issues should consult guides in advance.
Walking on uneven surfaces, hiking steep trails, and navigating urban streets requires caution. Travelers should wear comfortable shoes, stay hydrated, and monitor for fatigue or altitude effects on Mount Huashan. Those with pre-existing health conditions should inform the tour operator.
Bring layered clothing to accommodate varying temperatures between Xian city and Mount Huashan. Pack a hat, sunscreen, and a small umbrella or raincoat for occasional rain or strong sun.
Some areas of Mount Huashan and historic sites have stairs and uneven terrain. Travelers with mobility issues should notify guides; cable cars or alternative routes may be used where possible.
