Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Upon arrival at Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport or Zhangjiajie West Railway Station, your local guide will greet you with a personalized sign and assist with your transfer to Wulingyuan downtown. Enjoy a comfortable private car ride and hotel check-in.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Begin your day with breakfast before heading to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Enter through the south gate of the park, and take the cable car up to Huangshi Village at 1,080 meters, offering wide panoramic views of the sandstone peaks on its peak. It is praised for its similar breathtaking view of pillar forest of Colorado in the USA. Walk through scenic spots like Star Picking Stand and Five Finger Peak, then descend by cable car.
Next, explore the Golden Whip Stream, a tranquil 7.5 km path through lush forest, pristine waters, and vibrant seasonal flora. Keep an eye out for wild monkeys along the path.

Located 32 kilometers from Zhangjiajie city, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park was the first national forest park in China, listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. The park is known for its odd-shaped peaks and rocks, exquisite forests, tranquil water, beautiful canyons, limestone caves and breathtaking views. Different scenery presents in different seasons.
Tianzi Mountain Start early with a guided visit to the core scenic areas of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, entering through the north gate of the park (The order of visits to the attractions listed below may be adjusted in response to weather conditions and visitor traffic levels). Explore Ten-mile Gallery by sightseeing tram, marvel at Yuanjiajie’s towering sandstone pillars via the Bailong Elevator, and visit the famous Avatar-inspired landscapes.
Continue to Tianzi Mountain, discovering Yubi Peak, Fairy Flowers, and the Warrior Training Horse rock formations. Descend via cable car and transfer to Zhangjiajie downtown for hotel check-in.

Ancient town of Fenghuang lit up at night Ride the world’s longest single-track cableway to Tianmen Mountain, a must-see attraction in Zhangjiajie, renowned for its record-breaking single-track circular alpine cableway. Then we will visit Tianmen Mountain Temple, and descend via the Transmountain Escalator to the colossal Tianmen Cave.
Drive approximately 200 km (about 3.5 hours) to Fenghuang Ancient Town. As evening falls, stroll through illuminated stilted houses and riverside lanes to soak in the town’s magical ambiance.

Tuojiang River, Fenghuang In this morning, you’ll visit Fenghuang Ancient Town. With over 300 years’ history, it is located on the western edge of Hunan Province and next to Guizhou Province. Enjoy the Fenghuang Ancient Town, with stone-paved lanes, stilted wooden houses, and centuries-old architecture. Experience a boat ride along Tuojiang River and visit the former residence of Shen Congwen, exploring literary history and local culture.
In the afternoon, return to Zhangjiajie for departure by flight or train. Alternative departure via high-speed train from Fenghuang to Changsha, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, or Beijing is available.
