  • Stone Forest
    Stone Forest

    Welcome to Kunming, known as the “Spring City” for its pleasant climate year-round. Upon arrival before 12:00, your guide and driver will meet you at the airport or railway station, then send you to your hotel for check -in.

    Begin your journey to the famous Stone Forest, one of China’s most impressive karst landscapes and a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. 

    Take the sightseeing bus into the Greater Stone Forest, where towering grey stone pillars rise like natural sculptures. Walk along winding paths through the maze-like landscape and enjoy panoramic views from the higher viewpoints. You will also see several iconic rock formations, including the famous peaks often featured in photographs of Yunnan.

    Continue to the Lesser Stone Forest, home to the well-known “Ashima Stone,” which resembles a young Yi minority woman. Your guide will share the local legend of Ashima while you explore the peaceful park filled with stone formations, ponds, trees, and seasonal flowers.
